On December 20th, Footlocker sent out a tweet from its company Twitter account announcing the sale of Kanye West’s much anticipated Red October sneakers will occur online only at 8 A.M. on December 27th. Today (December 24th), less than five days from the initial announcement, Footlocker went back to Twitter to change their plans:
Unfortunately, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 will not be releasing via http://t.co/K5S0xnnVF1 on Dec 27. We have no further updates at this time.

No word on if Kanye had a hand in this decision, but one can assume
his mind is on his new partnership with Adidas. During a recent radio
interview , Kanye spoke on a recent trip to Germany with Adidas that
spawned a variety of new products:We designed the entire women’s collection. We designed the entire men’s collection. And we designed 20 shoes. We coming in September and it’s about to be a paradigm shift
